Since the weather has been sooo beautiful, I thought we would take advantage of it and get some quick shots of the costumes!

If... We were to stop and take a moment to reflect on the many great things that happen to us daily, we would be witnessing many little miracles. These miracles could be a daughter graduating from Kindergarten,or a son's little league team winning the championship and him going on to make the all-star team, or another son making an out-of-the park Home Run! Then we would say to ourselves, these are the best days of our lives... and then another little miracle could happen or should I say did happen... Introducing another little miracle to reflect on...

I was honored to photograph this new little one... She was soooo sweet and sooo cute! I wanted to share her photos with you. I also have to announce that due to the nature of my condition, I am now officially on maternity leave. I was hoping to make it longer in my pregnancy with photo shoots, but I have had to stop. At this point in time I don't have an exact time as to when I will be photographing again. I thank everyone that has tuned into my website and blog! I have sooo appreciated your comments and support!!!!

Oh all of these tiny little ones! I can't believe how sweet they are! This little guy was soooo cute, we had so much during his session. I have so many pictures that I just love so I thought I would share them with you...
Just what we love to do... watch babies sleep, aren't these just priceless?

So I LOVE the wrinkly forehead in this one, don't you?
And we all deserve to get upset too...
Some with him awake, so cute...

One last sweet one with him and his mom, so great!

I wanted to post this picture because I wanted to demonstrate that sometimes you don't have to have the "perfect" background or setting to get a fun and or candid shot. I was at my son's basketball game trying to get some good action shots of him on the court. I happened to look over my shoulder and noticed my little girl (who by the way gets very bored at all of the games, but tries to be a good sport) was hanging on the back of my husband with her arms around his neck (she just adores him). Anyways, I happened to notice what a cute shot that looked like and luckily I had my portrait lens on and caught a fun shot of her. What I am getting at here is this was taken in a school gymnasium with bleachers in the background and you really can't tell where we are, all that matters is how the shot turned out. I also turned it black and white and sepia to show what a different feel you can get from a color change.... So what am I getting at with all this jabber.... well I guess I am trying to say don't hesitate to capture a fun, candid shot wherever you might be! Soon I will post another newborn session I just did, sooooo cute!

I apologize for not posting for a while.... so I have put 2 posts on today, there is another below this one...
This next post means a lot to all involved, not only the parents, but the photographer too! You see this little one is my new niece. We, meaning all of us, have been waiting a long time for this little one to arrive (especially her mom and dad). Apparently she was excited to come too because she was born six weeks early at the tiny size of 4lbs, 11 oz. She spent some time in NICU, but has done absolutely fabulous ever since!
so enjoy this post, she is such a sweetie...
some cute baby feet...
a sweet shot with her cute mom...
I love this one, it is a very dramatic shot and I think turned out pretty cool...

Oh and did I mention her gorgeous eyes....

and this last one is just such a cute shot... I had to post it....

I had to post this photo... I took this shot of my son this summer while on vacation, it is his birthday today and I had to share it with you. This kid's personality is so funny and his laugh is sooo contagious. I was REALLY trying hard to get a great portrait shot of him and this is the one I ended up with. The woes of a photographer trying to photograph her own children. Tell me you don't just giggle a little when you see it! Happy Birthday P-Sam Diggity Dog! love ya!

I was honored to take on the task of photographing some twins. They were so sweet! They each had their own little personality and they were just soooooo cute! We tried a variety of different ideas with them and had some fun shots turn out.
I love this shot because it shows the special bond twins have...
Little Boy twin was so into the camera, it was so cute!
This is one of my personal favorites...
Here is a cute shot of sister twin...
Okay next came the fun part, getting them both to sleep. Once we got them to sleep and positioned, I caught myself just starring at them instead of photographing them. There is just something about multiples that makes you stop and watch them and count the blessings in your life...
Another pretty shot of sister...
A fun little off the wall shot...
I am often asked what my custom birth announcements look like, so I thought I would share with you how their birth announcement turned out. For my clients privacy, I have changed the names on the announcement.... This announcement was fun to do for their parents...
Thanks for reading my blog, aren't those twins just so sweet? Have a great day!

When I met this cute family, I knew we were in for some fun. We first started out with some group shots...
(This is one of my favorites...)

Then that special shot with mom and daughter...
Oh yes and a sibling shot with a case of the giggles...
And "M" loved the camera...
Then "J" made me laugh, one of the best shots I got of him was this one...
Sis wanted to try the same shot too...

"B" was a little more focused...
Then the fun began, mom gave up trying to calm the kids down and joined in the fun...

I think this is one of my favorite fall shots...
Once everything calmed down, we caught another great group shot, Thanks again "B" Family, you were fabulous!
Stay tuned for a shoot I recently did of some twins, tooooo cute!
